Have you ever smoked hookah by the beach? If you haven’t, you need to try it. It is probably my favorite place to smoke. The wind and sand and the water right in front of you gives you that ultimate chill feeling you need when you’re smoking. Just don’t forget your wind cover!

The only problem I have with smoking by the beach is lighting the coals. What? I refuse to use the quick lights – they give me a headache. And it’s too much work to figure out a way to light my Titaniums with all that wind. I thought about taking a gas burner with me to light them but then the flame will be disturbed by the wind. It needs a constant flame, which is why the electric stovetop eye works the best for me (but you need electricity for it!!) If any of you come up with anything, let me know, and I’ll do the same!

Speaking of Titaniums, in my professional and personal opinion, I believe those are the best coals I have tried so far. Before Titanium, I would use Coco Nara, but once I tried Titanium, there was no turning back. There are a bunch of coconut coals out there, and I urge you to try them, but you won’t find anything nearly as good as the Titaniums. But again, if you disagree, let me know, I’m more than happy to try new things!

Anyways, I know you can’t blow o’s by the beach, but it’s still a great feeling to smoke a Blue Mist (Starbuzz) with Mint or a Pirates Cave (also Starbuzz) with Mint with the sound of the waves crashing against the sandy beach. Make sure to bring your portable speaker with you to have Tycho playing in the background too, and you’ve got yourself the chilliest spot to hookah.

How do you hookah?
